Star Wars Episode Three
I don't think I've given anything away. But I'll stick it behind a cut, just in case.
General Ramblings
As predicted, I was really rather disappointed in "Revenge of the Sith". This is the movie everyone's really been waiting for. Little Orphan Ani finally flips out and becomes the hulking, hard-shell baddie everyone knows and loves. But there were absolutely no surprises. Anyone who has seen the other Star Wars movies, or even just one or two of them, can pretty much tell what's going to happen. And the fact that you know who's going to show up in the original trio pretty much kills any tension there might have been in the final fight.
Worse than that, the dialogue was terrible. Most of the lines were flat, and, except for a couple of brief scenes, none of the actors really sounded as if they had their heart in it. And by the end of the movie, I was ready to bludgeon Yoda with a stack of grammar textbooks. He's tolerable in small doses, but come on. Every other species in the galaxy managed to get a grasp on basic English grammar. Those not restricted to grunts and growls, anyway. Why can't Yoda?

{These people have the knowledge to build ships that can jump between planets in a heartbeat, but they can't do reconstructive surgery?}
I must admit that I fond myself sympathizing with Anakin to a great degree. I mean they took him away from his mother when he was a boy, and that'd be enough to scar anyone. Then they tell him he's the Chosen One, but won't let him do anything. He's got to hide his marriage, and the only people who seem to treat him with any real respect are Obi-Wan and Palpatine. That'd be enough to set anyone off, I would imagine.
I still don't buy that Ewan McGregor is gonna grow up to be Sir Alec Guinness, though.
